Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Sportster mobile application, website (sportsters.ca), or any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Sportster. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. Sportster is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized account access.

4. Bookings & Payments

Bookings made through the Platform are subject to venue availability and the venue's own cancellation policies. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Sportster facilitates payments but does not hold funds — payments go directly to venue operators via Stripe Connect.

Game payments (cost per player) are processed at the time of joining. Refunds for game cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to: post harmful, offensive, or misleading content; harass other users; create fake accounts; manipulate ratings or reviews; circumvent the booking system; or use the Platform for any illegal purpose. Violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban.

6. Venue Partners

Venue partners are independent operators, not employees or agents of Sportster. Sportster is not responsible for the condition, safety, or quality of partner venues. Users participate in sports activities at their own risk.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform (including text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by Sportster Technologies Inc. and protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

Sportster provides the Platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any injuries, property damage, or disputes arising from sports activities, venue conditions, or interactions between users. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Sportster in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Vancouver, BC.
