Community Guidelines
Last updated: March 15, 2026
Sportster is built for people who love sports. These guidelines help keep our community welcoming, safe, and fun for everyone.
Be Respectful
Treat every player, host, and venue operator with respect. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, and bullying have no place on Sportster. This includes in-app messages, game chats, community posts, and ratings.
Play Fair
Show up on time. If you can't make it, cancel early so others can take your spot. Repeated no-shows affect your reliability score and may lead to account restrictions.
Rate Honestly
Ratings help the community. Rate players based on sportsmanship, skill, and reliability — not personal disputes. Fake or retaliatory ratings will be removed.
Keep It Safe
Never share personal information (phone numbers, addresses, financial details) in public posts or game chats. Report any suspicious behavior through the in-app reporting system.
Respect Venues
Follow venue rules, take care of equipment, and leave facilities as you found them. Damage to venue property may result in charges and account suspension.
No Spam or Scams
Do not post promotional content, MLM offers, or unsolicited advertising in communities or game chats. Do not create fake accounts or impersonate other users.
Enforcement
Violations of these guidelines may result in: content removal, temporary suspension, permanent account ban, or reporting to law enforcement where applicable. We review all reports and take action within 24 hours.
Report Issues
See something wrong? Use the in-app report button on any profile, post, or game. You can also email safety@sportsters.ca. All reports are confidential.
