1. Who We Are

Sportster ("we," "us," "our") is a sports technology platform based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. We operate the Sportster mobile app, the venue management dashboard at venues.sportsters.ca, and this website at sportsters.ca.

2. Information We Collect

Waitlist sign-up: When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. We use this solely to notify you about Sportster's launch and updates.

Analytics: We collect anonymous page view data (referrer, UTM parameters, browser type) to understand how visitors find our site. No personally identifiable information is stored in analytics.

Mobile app (at launch): The app will collect your name, email, profile photo, location (for finding nearby courts), and payment information (processed securely via Stripe). Full details will be available in the app's privacy policy at launch.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide the Sportster service, send waitlist updates, process court bookings and payments, and improve our platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. Payment processing is handled by Stripe and we never store credit card numbers on our servers. All communication is encrypted via TLS.

5. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@sportsters.ca. If you are a resident of British Columbia, you have rights under PIPEDA and BC PIPA.

6. Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies. We use anonymous analytics only. The mobile app may use local storage for session management.
