Refund Policy

Venue Bookings

Refund policies for venue bookings are set by each individual venue partner. When you book a court or facility, the venue's cancellation policy is displayed before payment. Common policies include:

  • Full refund if cancelled 24+ hours before the booking
  • 50% refund if cancelled 12–24 hours before
  • No refund for cancellations less than 12 hours before

Check the specific venue's policy in the booking confirmation screen before completing payment.

Game Payments

For paid pickup games (cost per player):

  • Game cancelled by host: Full refund to all paid participants, processed automatically within 5–10 business days.
  • Player leaves before game starts: Full refund if you leave 2+ hours before start time. No refund within 2 hours of start.
  • Game cancelled by admin: Full refund to all participants.
  • No-show: No refund for no-shows.

How Refunds Are Processed

All refunds are processed through Stripe Connect back to your original payment method. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

Disputes

If you believe you are entitled to a refund that was not processed, contact us at [email protected] with your booking or game details. We review all disputes within 48 hours.

Platform Fees

Sportster currently charges no platform fees during our launch period (Spring 2026). When platform fees are introduced, they will be non-refundable unless a booking or game is cancelled by the venue or host.
